The Headache Specialists


Paula Province Warren, MD is a neurologist and the founder of The Headache Specialists. She is board certified in neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and she is licensed through the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure and the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and Medical Licensure Commission. She has more than 10 years of experience treating migraine and other headache disorders. 

Dr. Warren’s areas of interest include headaches, epilepsy, and neuro-oncology. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society, and Society for Neuro-Oncology.

Dr. Warren received her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham, Alabama. She completed her residence in neurology at UAB, where she also completed a neuro-oncology fellowship. 

Dr. Warren lives on the MS Gulf Coast with her husband and 2 children.  Outside of work she enjoys reading, exercise, traveling, and spending time with her family.
