Charles Sammis, DO's Profile

Charles Sammis, DO Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Charles Sammis is a board certified Osteopathic Family Physician for over 35 years. Beginning as a solo practitioner, with his RN wife as his nurse, he did house calls, assisted in surgery, delivered babies, worked ER part time and ran a full time family practice. That was the summit of pure family medicine.

With the introduction of HMO’s, PPO’s, and major changes in Medicare/Medicaid, the business aspect of medicine became increasing complex. So after 20 years, Dr. Sammis sold his practice and moved from Illinois to Wisconsin. He joined a corporate entity to eliminate the business aspect, but after 14 years, he left to start a direct primary care practice.
