Description

Ms Ackerman discusses Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy vs Cognitive Behavorial Therapy in various treatments. She covers the treatment of female sexual interest/arousal disorder and creating and the factors contributing as well as possible treatments.

Ms Ackerman has no conflicts to disclose. 

The NHOA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing education for physicians

The NHOA designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits commensurate with the extent of the physicians participation in this activity.

Sandra Ackerman, PsyD Related Seminars and Products


Sandra Ackerman is a Postdoctoral Neuropsychological Fellow working toward licensure under the supervision of Dr. Katerina Tolsitkova. Sandra completed her baccalaureate degree in experimental psychology at Saint Anselm College,  Master’s degree in counseling psychology at Notre Dame College, and doctorate degree in counseling and school psychology at Rivier University 2021. The majority of her time dedicated for neuropsychological assessment/evaluation for both neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders and 30% is dedicated to therapy provision. Her doctoral research has centered upon female sexual dysfunction, and I have a clinical interest in the treatment of these challenges.
