Dr. Wes Aldred was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi and is a graduate of Ole Miss.  He completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident in internal medicine.

 

He is currently practicing as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician with the Hattiesburg Clinic, where he has special interest in point of care ultrasound, advanced bronchoscopy, and lung cancer care.

 

In addition to his medical practice, he is active in the Mississippi Chapter of the American College of Physicians where he has served for 5 years on their Regional Meeting Planning Committee and Governor’s Advisory Council. He also serves as the Assistant Medical Director for the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency.
