Learning Objectives

  1. Diagnose menopause in the primary care setting
  2. Compare hormonal and nonhormonal treatment options for common meopausal symptoms
  3. Discuss risks and benefits of hormone therapy based on age and risk factors before initiating therapy

Amanda Schoenfuss, DO is a native of a rural town in Stratford, Wisconsin. She graduated from A.T. Still University: Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from the UW: Wausau Family Medicine Residency in 2019. She currently practices full time at the Aspirus Family Health Specialists clinic in Wausau where she practices full spectrum family medicine including obstetrics and inpatient pediatrics. She also serves part-time as the Osteopathic Site Director and Clinical Adjunct faculty to the Wausau Family Medicine Residency. Her clinical interests include OMM, women’s health, pediatrics, and obstetrics.
