Description

NAFLD: The Skinny on Fatty Liver Disease. Was first presented at the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine Annual Conference 2023. This program now made available on-demand, follows Julie Slade, PA-C as she explains what NAFLD is, how to identify clinical manifestations, as well as management and treatment for patients.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recognize the prevalence and pathophysiology of NAFLD.
  2. Discuss important outcomes in patients with NAFLD.
  3. Identify the clinical manifestations of patients with NAFLD.
  4. Describe the evaluation and diagnosis of NAFLD.
  5. Outline the management and treatment of patients with NAFLD.
