Dr. Boghossian is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist. Dr. Boghossian grew up in the Bay Area where he attended Santa Clara University for his undergraduate education. After graduating with honors, he attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated first in his class. Following his residency ophthalmology at University of Missouri, Kansas City, Dr. Boghossian completed an extra sub-specialty training in laser vision correction at the world-renowned Durrie Vision. Dr. Boghossian is an active member of numerous professional organizations including American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is a LASIK instructor to ophthalmology residents at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting and a regular speaker on laser vision correction at national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Boghossian has been on the board of directors to Prevent Blindness Northern California (PBNC) since 2011 and has serves as the chairman since 2015. He also volunteers on the education committee for the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California.
