Learning Objectives:

• • Identify Common Accepted Conditions In Literature to Qualify an Injury as Overuse
• • Identify Clinical Conditions that Can be Identified as Overuse Injuries in the Extremities
• • Review factors Contributing to the development of Lateral Epicondylitis
• • Review Proposed Contributors to the development of Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome
• • Review Proposed Contributors to the development of IT Band Syndrome
• • Review some Relevant Anatomy of the Lower Extremity
• • Discuss a Case Related to Lower Extremity Overuse
• • Review Relevant Upper and Lower Extremity Direct and Indirect OMT Techniques
• • Apply Direct OMT to Areas of Common Overuse Injury
• • Apply Indirect OMT to Areas of Common Overuse Injury
• • Apply Direct or Indirect OMT to Areas Related to but distant from the site of Overuse
