This presentation will focus on implementing a distinctly osteopathic approach to gynecological patients by addressing the whole “person” rather than “individual system” care. We will discuss how metabolic and hormonal imbalances affect gynecological patients in terms of generalized women’s health, sexual health, cardiovascular, reproductive health, and risk of malignancy. Specific examples of PCOS, perimenopausal/menopausal patient, and Metabolic syndrome will be used to demonstrate the need for different types of testing and patient counseling.
