Osteopathic Approach in Long-COVID (Long Haulers)- Richard W. Koss, DO, ACOFP, C-SPOMM

The session will begin with a short PowerPoint presentation outlining the basic sign and symptoms of COVID-19 Long hauler’s Syndrome. Then follows a discussion and demonstration of the Osteopathic evaluation and Osteopathic manipulative treatment. Finally, the participants will perform the evaluation and Osteopathic treatment.

The Washington Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association as a Category 1 CME Sponsor.

Richard W. Koss, DO, ACOFP, C-SPOMM Related Seminars and Products


Richard W. Koss, D.O. graduated Summa Cum Laude with BS Physical Education from Springfield College in Massachusetts in 1976, and subsequently completed   an Anatomy/Physiology Fellowship and Teaching Assistant position.  He was awarded a DO Degree in 1982 from AT Still University in Kirksville, Missouri.  He has served in the US Air Force as flight surgeon, chief of Air Transport, chief of Emergency Services, and chief of Family Practice. He has served on the faculty of AT Still University in OPP, and the faculty of Texas College Of Osteopathy as OPP Vice Chair in Fort Worth Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth.  He is Board Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.  Dr. Koss continues to teach Osteopathic Philosophy and Fulford’s Percussion Hammer all over the world and is currently in private practice in Maple Valley Washington.
