Mariel Focseneanu, MD -  Dr. Focseneanu received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut.  She completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cornell University School of Medicine – New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center.  She also completed a fellowship in Fellow in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine.  Dr. Focseneanu specializes in pediatric gynecology.  Her specialized training and clinical practice have given her expertise in managing gynecological issues unique to this population, and she enjoys working as a multidisciplinary team with other specialists to offer optimal care for each situation.  An Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School, she is currently the Director of  Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, Children’s Specialty Group at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
