Dr. Krishna completed his residency training in General Psychiatry and fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Dr. Krishna is double boarded with board certification in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He joined as a staff psychiatrist at Mayo Clinic Health System Southwest Minnesota Region in 2011 and has served as the Regional Chair, Psychiatry and Psychology in Mayo Clinic Health System from 2013-2017. He is currently serving as Vice-Chair of Medical Specialties for Mayo Clinic Health System Southwest Minnesota Region and also as Regional Chair of Outpatient Practice Sub-Committee.
Dr. Krishna was instrumental in launching the first Outpatient Child Psychiatry Practice within the region in 2012. Dr. Krishna’s clinical contributions are focused in area psychopharmacological management of childhood pediatric psychiatry diagnoses.
