“Avoiding Migraine Before it Starts: The Preventive Role of Migraine Management”

1.        Identify patients who should be offered preventive migraine 
2.         Compare treatment options for the prevention of migraine.
3.         Recognize new treatment options for the prevention of migraine.
4.         Demonstrate preventive migraine treatment optimization in utilization.
 
Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education.

Jaye Bea Downs, DO Related Seminars and Products


Jay Bea Downs, DO is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist in Tulsa, OK. She attended medical school at Oklahoma State University – Center for Health Sciences and completed her Otolaryngology residency at OSU Medical Center. After completion of residency, Dr. Downs completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Downs joined ENT Specialists of Tulsa in January 2021 and treats all aspects of general pediatric otolaryngology as well as cleft lip and palate repair, airway problems, feeding difficulties, tongue and lip tie, snoring and OSA, otoplasty and infant ear shaping for congenital ear anomalies.

Jaclyn Duvall, MD Related Seminars and Products


Jaclyn Duvall, M.D. is a board-certified Neurologist and UCNS certified headache specialist with an Added Qualification in Headache Medicine from NHF based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is Oklahoma’s only fellowship-trained Headache Specialist. Dr. Duvall completed her Headache Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and her residency and medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Placing great value on the doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Duvall has a special interest in chronic migraine, posttraumatic headache, and migraine education. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Duvall has published a book, “The Basics of Migraine,” and research in several medical journals, including Headache, Neurology and Cephalalgia.

Dr. Duvall is on the Abbvie/Allergan, Teva, Eli Lilly, Biohaven, Lundbeck, and Impel Speakers Bureau and a consultant for Abbvie/Allergan and Biohaven
