This session reviews current guideline-based management of vascular disease, with emphasis on coronary artery disease and peripheral artery disease. Attendees will examine recent evidence on long-term beta blocker use and explore antiplatelet strategies including monotherapy, dual antiplatelet therapy and dual pathway inhibition across relevant comorbidities.
Objectives:
1. Update physicians on current guidelines and recommendations for management of vascular disease
2. Provide a framework for management of dual pathway inhibition
3. Discuss recent literature regarding the use of long-term beta blocker therapy in CAD
