Learning Objectives:
  • Provide a historical perspective of psoriasis therapies in the context of current therapies.
  • Discuss comorbidities associated with psoriatic disease and their impact on therapeutic selection.
  • Review clinical evidence based clinical trial data for new and emerging therapies for the management of patients with psoriatic disease.
  • Provide a current review of the literature for psoriatic disease.

Brad P. Glick, DO, MPH, FAAD, is a board certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon with clinical and academic practices in Margate and Wellington, Florida, USA. Dr. Glick graduated from Emory University with a BA in chemistry and received his MPH from the Emory University School of Public Health. He earned his DO degree with honors at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Glick is the director of the Dermatology Residency at the Larkin Hospital, Palm Springs Campus and clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. Glick is a member of the board of dDirectors of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), Chair of the Individual Giving Committee, Section Editor, Practice Management, Dialogues in Dermatology, & member, State Society Relationship Committee of the AAD. Dr. Glick is a member of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, the International Journal of Women’s Dermatology & the Journal of Dermatologic Treatment. Dr. Glick is immediate past president of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery as well as principal investigator for GSI Clinical Research in Margate, Florida.
