1. Review OMT Techniques
The Ohio Osteopathic Foundation (OOF) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The OOF designates this activity for a maximum of 0.50 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
The 2025 Ohio Osteopathic Symposium is designed to comply with Uniform Guidelines for Accrediting Agencies of Continuing Medical Education. Questions or complaints concerning the program should be submitted in writing and directed to the Executive Director. All grievances will receive an initial written response within 30 days of receipt. Gautam J. Desai, DO, FACOFP dist. is the professor, division of primary care at Kansas City University, where he also serves as director, honors track in global medicine. Dr. Desai received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Residency as well as an Internship in Osteopathic Family Medicine at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital. With over 50 peer-reviewed publications in print, textbooks, encyclopedias, and digital publications, Dr. Desai has presented nationally and internationally on many topics related to medical education and Osteopathic Manual Medicine.
