Description

An increasing number of chest computed tomography have detected the frequent occurrence of small pulmonary ground-glass nodules (GGNs). If GGN is an incidental finding, it should be followed according to the guidelines. This session will review important radiographic considerations in evaluating sub solid pulmonary nodules.

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
-    Identify characteristics that are more concerning for malignancy.
-    Determine when to refer to pulmonary/thoracic surgery.
-    Discuss options for biopsy, sampling, evaluation and how this may evolve in the future.
