Physicians and medical professionals will review the Epidemiology and clinical indicators of COVID-19 complications relevant to athletic participation and describe the current recommendations for evaluation and treatment of COVID-19 complications prior to athletic return to play. They will summarize the specific requirements prior to athletic participation for Montana high school and collegiate athletes.

Accreditation Statement:
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Grievance Policy:

Karl Reisig, MD, CAQSM joined Bozeman Health Belgrade Clinic in 2018. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Reisig completed family medicine residency in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with Penn Medicine-Lancaster General Health and a primary care sports medicine fellowship with Wake Forest University/Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is board certified in family medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Reisig works in Belgrade, MT practicing family medicine and primary care sports medicine, and is also the head team physician for Montana State University athletics.
