Dr. Baik attended A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSUKCOM) in Kirksville, MO, and graduated in 2005. He underwent training at Brown University (family medicine Internship), St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY (general surgery), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA (general surgery), University of Miami (cardiothoracic surgery) in FL, and at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA (minimally invasive thoracic and esophageal surgery). He has been with Cancer Treatment Centers of America as a thoracic surgeon since 2014. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (Chair-Elect of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Section 2019-2020), American College of Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology (a member of the QOPI Steering Group), and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He is an adjunct assistant professor of surgery with the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (OSUCOM) in Tulsa, OK, and Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, AK.
