This lecture will introduce the physician to the medical impact of the unique work environments, biomechanics, and ergonomics of military service on the warfighter and veteran. OMT techniques and home exercises that are applicable regardless of medical specialty will be reviewed and demonstrated.

Dr. Nevins currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education, and Professor of Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Touro University CA, and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Disaster Medicine, and Professor of Clinical Public Health at New York Medical College. She is COL in the Army Reserve and serves as the Commander of the 2nd Medical Training Brigade, has had three combat deployments to the Middle East, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
