First presented at the 2021 Virtual Osteopathic Conference, OPSO is pleased to offer this presentation as an on-demand CME seminar. 

In this presentation Dr. Wright will:

  • Review the diagnosis and management of Subacute Cardiac Tamponade
  • Review the DDx in septic thrombocytopenic pts
  • Review approaching non-response to vasopressors

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Dr. Jonathan Wright graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest in Lebanon, Oregon, in 2012. He completed his residency at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma, where he served as Chief Resident. In June of this year, Jonathan graduated from his residency and moved his family to Eugene, Oregon. He currently works as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon.

Most recently, Jonathan is reveling in post-residency free time. His activities include routinely getting beat by his oldest in tennis, avenging those losses in ping pong, building a treehouse with his daughters, enjoying the now much more readily available date nights with his wife, and whenever possible, heeding those immortal words, "The mountains are calling, and I must go."

Dr. Wright discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
