Description

Discussion of the anatomy of the thoracic inlet/outlet. Including a review of the biomechanics of the cervical spine and upper extremities, traditional treatments for thoracic outlet syndrome and unique osteopathic approaches to thoracic outlet syndrome. 

Learning Objectives 

  1. Describe the anatomy of the thoracic inlet/outlet 
  2. Diagnose thoracic outlet syndrome 
  3. Develop an initial treatment plan for thoracic outlet syndrome 
  4. Perform osteopathic manipulative techniques (OMT) to reduce the symptoms associated with thoracic outlet syndrome
