Jordan Shapiro, MD MS is a gastroenterologist in Houston, TX. Dr. Shapiro completed his medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Med-Peds residency at the University of Cincinnati, and adult gastroenterology training at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Shapiro is an expert in management of disorders of gut-brain interaction, eating disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders, and long COVID. Dr. Shapiro started Gentle GI, a trauma-informed GI practice in 2024 but continues to contribute to the field with peer reviewed publications, conference and podcast talks, and numerous textbooks.
