This presentation will allow participants to understand the recommendations of the present FDA approved COVID-19 vaccines. In addition, the speaker will discuss the latest recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) on vaccinations in general.

The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. TOMA designates is program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Stan Grogg, DO, known as Dr. Stan, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a professor emeritus at the Oklahoma State University - CHS. He has numerous honors, awards and publications. He represents the American Osteopathic Association as their Liaison for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) and American Academy of Pediatrics. He has a travel medicine certificate from the International Society of Travel Medicine. Dr. Stan’s hobby is traveling. He has visited 184 countries and all continents. He is the Chair of a non-Profit, Power of a Nickel, and leads medical teams to serve the underserved to 9-10 countries annually except during COVID-19.
