In this presentation, Dr. Higgins will look at hormone replacement therapy in men. He will discuss what patients need this therapy and what symptoms and medical conditions have the most benefits from this therapy. The long-term risks and best treatment options for hormone replacement therapy will also be discussed.

Dr. Dustin Higgins was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. He is the seventh of nine children. He went to college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and then to medical school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. He was trained in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and then completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He currently practices in Quincy, Illinois as the only Endocrinologist in his group. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He enjoys fishing and pond swimming with his wife and six boys.
