Description

A comprehensive review of common ocular diagnoses encountered by the Primary and Urgent Care Physician.  This will help provide more detail in how to properly diagnose, manage and triage different eye conditions.  The session will also provide an update in cataract surgery technology and discuss how GLP-1 effects the eye.

Objectives:

  • GLP-1 Effects on the Eyes

 

Statement of Accreditation

The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. TOMA designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Dr. Justin Wileman, DO's Profile

Dr. Justin Wileman, DO Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Justin Wileman is a board-certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University. After earning his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, he completed medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He continued his training with an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital and his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health, where he served as the Academic Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. Wileman completed a fellowship in Cornea, Refractive and Anterior Segment Surgery at Price Vision Group in Indianapolis where he trained under world-renowned corneal surgeon, Dr. Francis Price. Dr. Wileman practices in Dallas and is a member of AAO, ASCRS, and TOMA.
