Behavioral Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn key symptoms of pediatric anxiety through a case example.
  • Participants will know how to assess for anxiety in the pediatric population in the primary care setting.
  • Participants will understand interventions for pediatric anxiety.
  •  Participants will know Oklahoma resources for pediatric anxiety disorders

Tessa Chesher, DO, IMH-E Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Tessa Chesher is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Oklahoma State University School of Community Medicine.  After her child and adolescent psychiatry training, she completed a Harris Fellowship in Infant and Early Childhood Psychiatry at Tulane School of Medicine. She is an endorsed Infant Mental Health Mentor - Clinical and Research/Faculty.   She is the lead of OSU's Infant Mental Health Extension for Community Health Care(ECHO) and serves as the medical director for the Oklahoma Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Mental Health Access Program.
