Brian Wallace, DO, is a 2008 graduate of Ohio University – College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio and a fellowship in Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy from Beacon Orthopedic Research & Education Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Wallace is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Wallace has a wealth of sports medicine experience. He has worked extensively with the athletes at the high school, college and professional level, including the Cincinnati Reds Major league Baseball team, along with other local high school and colleges in the Cincinnati area. In Florida, Dr. Wallace has served as an orthopedic surgeon for the USTA/ITF World Tennis Tour, the QBE Shootout golf event on the PGA Tour, plus other sporting events. Dr. Wallace currently serves as the head team physician for Ave Maria University, where he works with college athletes to assure their quick return to sport. Dr Wallace has served as the Chief of the Orthopedic Department for the NCH Healthcare system. His interests in orthopedics include arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow, and knee as well as general orthopedic care. He also has extensive training in joint reconstruction and fracture care. Dr. Wallace is expertly trained in nonoperative treatments such as stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, as well as other orthobiologics used to help patients. Outside of his practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys golf, fishing, and outdoor fitness activities with his family.
