Aaron Sigler, DO

Dr. Sigler is a board eligible neurosurgeon who completed his residency training through the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center both in New Jersey, as well as a fellowship in Advanced Endoscopic and Open Skull Base Tumors at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  He specializes in tumors of the skull base (i.e. pituitary tumors, skull base meningiomas, vestibular schwannomas/acoustic neuromas, etc.) through traditional open and advanced endoscopic approaches, tumors of the brain generally, simple spine surgery, and general neurosurgery more broadly.

As an osteopathic physician Dr. Sigler’s approach to his patients is a more holistic one which views the patient as a person with a mind, body, and spirit rather than the sum of their medical problems. This philosophical approach prompts him to consider and attempt more conservative means before recommending surgery for his patients. When surgery is recommended the whole person is considered and the most appropriate surgery is selected in a partnership with the patient and their family.

Dr. Sigler has no actual or potential conflict of interest in relation to this program or presentation.
