Annette Carron, D.O.
Annette Carron, D.O., CMD, FACOI, FAAHPM serves as director of Geriatrics and Palliative Care at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI. She previously served for six years as director of Beaumont Hospital’s Palliative Medicine program. Dr. Carron has also practiced in long-term care for 14 years. She is a certified medical director, certified in hospice and palliative medicine and recently awarded fellowship in the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Carron also is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. She serves on a hospital-wide pain committee in the role of physician education. She has spoken frequently on pain management, hospice and palliative care, including helping present the American Medical Association Educating Physicians on End-of-Life Care (EPEC) curriculum. Dr. Carron is also Assistant Clinical Professor Internal Medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and serves as board member and chair of the Palliative Medicine subsection of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
