Arsal Shah, OMS


Arsal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in May of 2019. At UConn, he did research in behavioral neuroscience, which helped build his interest in studying the brain and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). In August of 2019, Arsal joined the Boston University CTE Center and Brain Bank and pursued his current research interests, which include the quantification of neurodegeneration in CTE. Arsal is currently a first-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) and is continuing his interests in studying the brain as President of the Neuro/Psych Club.
