Bradley Wajda, DO


During his 30 years of practicing in Central California, Dr. Wajda has amassed extensive experience in adult and child psychiatry as well comprehensive substance abuse treatment. He has served in many local inpatient and outpatient positions, including that of corporate Medical Director for Kings View Corporation and Medical Director for the Kings View Substance Abuse Treatment Program of Tulare County.

 

Through Esano Corporation Dr. Wajda provides personalized mental health services using a range of treatment options in conjunction with integrative medicine. These options include pharmacogenetic testing, neurotransmitter profiling, naturopathic therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Suboxone therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprogramming (EMDR), and Vivitrol therapy.

 

Dr. Wajda received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma with graduate work in radiation physics, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Osteopathy from the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1987. He completed his internship and residency in General Psychiatry at the UCSF-Fresno Medical Education Program in 1991.

 

Dr. Wajda is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Physician Specialists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Medicine, a Life Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, and a buprenorphine-certified physician with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Additionally, he served as a member of the oral and written psychiatric certification examination committees for the American Academy of Physician Specialists, and is member of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California. Dr. Wajda has authored numerous mental health articles in local and national periodicals, such as Central California Life Magazine, and the American Journal of Clinical Medicine. Teaching medical students is a very rewarding (and frequent) part of his life, and he is a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Saint Agnes Medical Center Fresno. Dr. Wajda spent 2.5 years contributing weekly on the local NBC affiliate, was featured on an In Focus Television segment hosted by Martin Sheen, and spent several years as Dr. Brad of Radio Psyched www.radiopsyched.com.
