Claudwardyne Thevenin, DO


Dr. Thevenin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine for Albany Medical Center in New York. She graduated from the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and went on to complete her emergency medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in 2011. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Thevenin has held membership in numerous professional societies including the AOA, ACOEP, NYACEP, NYSOMS, and SAEM, and has taken part in several medical service activities in Haiti. She is the 2020 recipient of the New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit and the Senator Sue Serino Certificate of Recognition. She has served as an attending physician in the emergency department since 2011 where she supervises residents, medical students, PAs, PA Fellows, and NPs.
