Clipper Young
Clipper Young is an Assistant Professor and a Clinical Pharmacist in the Primary Care Department at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine. He obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) at Touro University California College of Pharmacy and then completed a two-year fellowship focusing on Pharmacy Education Administration and diabetes at the College. He also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health. He is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and has obtained Board Certification in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM).
As a clinical pharmacist, his practice mainly focuses on providing diabetes consultations, cardiovascular risk reduction, and medication therapy management at Solono County Family Health Services Clinics, a series of federally qualified health centers affiliating with Touro University California. His work also includes clinical/outcome research, teaching, and community outreach with an interprofessional team (doctors of osteopathic medicine, physician assistant, dietician, clinical research nurse, pharmacists, and basic scientist).
