Dan McCarty, DO, AOBFP
Dr. McCarty practices family medicine at Ascension Medical Group in Wichita. He received his DO degree from Kansas City University - College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. McCarty chose family medicine because of the variety of patient ages and medical conditions. His best piece of advice for his patients is to practice personal accountability. Dr. McCarty is originally from Kiowa, Kansas and when he’s not at work he enjoys time with his family, fishing, golf, woodworking and playing in guitar in a classic rock band. He serves as preceptor for the Via Christi Family Medicine residency program. Dr. McCarty has served on the KAOM Board of Directors and will move up to the President’s position at the next Annual Meeting.
