David Ginsberg, MD


David A. Ginsberg, MD is Professor of Clinical Urology at the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA and Chief of Urology at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA, an internationally respected facility focusing on the care of patients with spinal cord injury and other neurologic diseases. Dr. Ginsberg received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MD at the University of Southern California (USC), where he also stayed for his urology residency. Dr. Ginsberg was a member of the AUA Urology Core Curriculum Section for Neuropathic Bladder and is a present member of the AUA/ABU Examination Committee. Dr. Ginsberg's present research interests focus on lower urinary tract reconstruction in SCI patients, urologic applications of botulinum toxin and long-term follow-up issues for patients with neurogenic bladder. Dr. Ginsberg is the author or co-author of over many peer-reviewed articles, numerous book chapters and is a regular reviewer for journals such as Journal of Urology, Urology, Neurourology & Urodynamics and Neurosurgery.
