David M. Lasorda, DO

David M. Lasorda, DO, FACP, FACC, FSCAI, “Transfer of AMI Cardiogenic Shock Patients to a Level 1 Shock Center,” is senior attending physician of cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital and consulting internal medicine physician at the Medical Center of Beaver. Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Lasorda is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a 1983 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital and a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Allegheny General Hospital Campus in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Lasorda is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society. He is on the speaker’s bureau for Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. and Shockwave Medical and serves as a proctor for Edwards LifeScience.
