She aims to implement the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine to improve mind and body connection, addressing biology, psychosocial as well as environmental factors to enhance the individuals’ ability to reach and remain in the body's natural state of wellness. The way medicine is practiced currently in this defensive manner, focusing on metrics, leaves the patient out of the equation in a Lifestyle approach, the patient is a partner and becomes part of the team. Dr. Gracia seeks to gain knowledge and experience through various collaborations, fellowship opportunities, and conferences to implement innovative programs both for patients and staff at her clinic, putting the patient at the center of the equation, and empowering providers, staff and patients to optimize their emotional, spiritual and physical health.
