Elizabeth Gignac, DO


Elizabeth Gignac, DO is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI where she served as chief resident. After residency, she practiced in the Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL where she served as assistant medical director of the ED. In 2014, Dr. Gignac moved to North Carolina to found the state’s first Osteopathic emergency medicine residency program with Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently serves as clinical chair of emergency medicine at CUSOM and program director of the emergency medicine residency at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. Her interests include medicaleducation, population health and ED operations.
