Felip Villa Martignoni, MD
Dr. Martignoni graduated from Medical school as an MD at Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM)- Brazil in 2008. He served as a second Medical Lieutenant at the Brazilian Air force for one year, after which he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital at UFSM in 2011 along with a master’s in pharmacology in the same year.
He then went along to do a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and echocardiography at the same institution until 2014. Dr. Martignoni was then invited to finish his PhD training at the Cardiology institute in Porto Alegre in 2014. After one year working as a cardiologist at the University Hospital at UFSM and working as an Assistant Professor of cardiovascular physiology he decided to restart his career in the USA when a friend, a radiologist from Billings Clinic told him of the benefits of practicing medicine in the USA.
In 2016 he was accepted in the Internal Medicine residency program at Billings Clinic. Dr Martignoni has passed the Board of Internal Medicine and went on to work in Lewistown MT as a Primary care provider.
He is involved in ambulatory medicine, hospital medicine, echocardiography, stress tests, EKG reads. He also works as a teacher for the WWAMI students and as a preceptor for the Internal Medicine residents.
