Francesca Turner, D.O.

Obstetrical and Gynecological Associates

Dr. Francesca Turner was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and pursued her undergraduate education at Loyola University, where she earned a degree in Biology. Following her undergraduate studies, she was accepted to Midwestern University, where she obtained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. Turner then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She began her career in Chicago, but in 2007, seeking an ideal environment with excellent schools to raise her family, Dr. Turner relocated to Iowa. She continues to practice gynecology and is faculty attendee at Broadlawns Medical Center and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Turner's dedication to advancing women's health extends beyond her clinical practice. She serves as the legislative co-chair for the Iowa section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), where she passionately advocates for policies that prioritize women's healthcare needs. Her advocacy efforts have also extended to the national level, representing ACOG in Washington DC. She has also co-founded Iowans for Health Liberty, a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing reproductive healthcare liberties.
