Hansie Mathelier, MD
Hansie M. Mathelier, MD, FACC, “Mitral Regurgitation/Congestive Heart Failure,” is a clinical assistant professor of cardiovascular medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, Dr. Mathelier is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, a 2005 graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, and is currently a candidate for a Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and a general and advanced heart failure transplant cardiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Mathelier is a member of the Heart Failure Society of America, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the American Heart Association.
