Herb Pasternak, DO

Herb Pasternak, DO graduated with the first class of NYITCOM in 1981. After completing his AOA Internal Medicine residency, he did a Gastroenterology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center of New York of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at NYITCOM since 1987 teaching the clinical gastroenterology course to the second-year students. He has won the professor of the year award twice. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at TouroCOM for the last decade taching the second year students, and is Medical Director of Gastrointestinal Care of Long Island, his private practice in Massapequa, for the past 35 years.
