BIO: Dr. Valentine was the founding program director for the East Central Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program in Meridian, MS. He is also an active staff member for Rush Foundation Hospital, the John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital, and Laird Hospital in Meridian, MS.  He also serves Anderson Regional Medical Center as a Courtesy/Consulting staff member.  Dr. Valentine is a pilot and served from 2001 to 2011 as a Lieutenant Colonel Flight Surgeon/Medical Director for the Mississippi National Guard.  Dr. Valentine was the recipient of the ACOFP’s Master Preceptor Award in 2017, the Henry Pace Service Award in 2018, and the American Osteopathic Association’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award, in 2020.  He has been an active MOMA member for many years and served two terms as President -1999-2001 and again in 2009-2011.
