Jesse Sammon


Jesse D. Sammon, DO, Assistant Professor of Urology, specializing in Robotic surgery for tumors and benign disease of the adrenals, kidney, ureter, bladder and prostate. Dr. Sammon graduated UNECOM in 2009, and completed residency and fellowship in Urology and Robotic Urologic Oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 2016. Dr. Sammon has published extensively on minimally invasive Urologic Oncology, comparative effectiveness and prostate cancer epidemiology. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles & book chapters and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He has also recently served as a second year lecturer in Adult Urology at UNECOM. Dr. Sammon has recently returned to Maine accompanied by his wife and 3 children and looks forward to being an active member of the Maine Osteopathic Community.
