Lawrence L. Northorn, DO, FACOFP Dr. Northorn is a board certified, fellowed family medicine doctor in East Islip, New York. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Residency training in Family Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY. Dr. Northorn specializes in diabetes care, obesity and weight management and osteopathic manipulative medicine. Dr. Northorn also holds positions as the District Physician for the Central Islip Fire Department and Assistant Clinical Professor NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.He is President of the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), Member of the New York State Troopers Police Surgeon PBA and Member of the NYS Fraternal Order of Police – Surgeons.
