Libby Abbas, DO
Dr. Elizabeth “Libby” Abbas is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician and Registered Yoga Teacher practicing in Decorah, Iowa. She received her medical degree and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Pre-Doctoral Fellowship at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Augusta, Maine.
Dr. Abbas practices the full spectrum of rural family medicine including outpatient medicine, inpatient hospital care, obstetrics, addiction medicine, integrative medicine and Osteopathic Manual Medicine. She serves as the Osteopathic Site Director for the Gundersen Health System Family Medicine Residency Program and President of the Iowa Academy of Osteopathy.
Outside of work she enjoys mountain biking, playing music with her husband, practicing yoga, and adventuring outdoors with her two Dobermans “Izzy” and “Nelly”
