Mark A. Terrell, EdD, “The Effect of COVID-19 on Medical Education: Disruption or Catalyst for Transformation?” is assistant dean of medical education, institutional director of faculty development and interprofessional education, and director of the educational research center at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). He is also an associate professor and program director of the master of science in medical education program at LECOM. Dr. Terrell is a graduate of State University of New York – College at Fredonia, and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he received master degrees in geology and educational psychology, and a doctorate of education in biology. He is a member of the American Association of Anatomists, the American Association of Clinical Anatomists, the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society and the Central Group on Educational Affairs.
