Matthew Lammi, MD


Dr. Matthew Lammi, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Section of Pulmonary/Critical Care & Allergy/Immunology and serves on the faculty of the Cardiovascular Center of Excellence at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.  He is also Co-director of the Comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center at University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO). Dr. Lammi earned his medical degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, and completed his Internal Medicine residency, Chief Residency, and his fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Temple University Hospital.  He is on the Executive Committee of the Pulmonary Circulation Assembly of the American Thoracic Society and the Research Committee of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.  Dr. Lammi's research focuses on pulmonary hypertension in patients with systemic sclerosis, biomarkers of PH development and progression, and the pulmonary vasculature in COPD.
