Megan Toufexis, D.O.


Megan Toufexis, DO completed her medical school training at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and was trained in adult psychiatry at the University of Rochester and then completed a child psychiatry fellowship at University of South Florida where she served as chief. After graduation she continued to work at USF as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and worked primarily at Rothman Center of Neuropsychiatry. There she participated in multiple research studies, publications, medication consultation phone line for pediatricians, and supervised resident doctors. She also has worked at multiple treatment centers for eating disorders in the Tampa Bay area. Her areas of expertise include OCD, anxiety disorders, Tic disorders, PANS, eating disorders and women’s mental health. She has a small private practice and  is also working with several offices in the area offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TMS) to adults with depression and OCD.
